Tsinberg, Yisrael
(1873-1939)
   Russian literary historian. He was born in a village near Lanovits, Volhynia, and lived in St Petersburg, where he became head of a chemical laboratory. He published a popular science book in Yiddish, critical and literary-historical studies, and a history of Jewish literature.
